Responsible for providing strategic and architectural directions on the evolution of standards, technologies, network architectures, and planning for network infrastructure products. The scope of work includes network architecture, network infrastructure hardware and software, networking applications, network management, network infrastructure products and services, as well as providing direction to others supporting these tasks. Must have the following skill-set: 4+ years demonstrated experience in managing networking systems, design of network systems, and LAN/WAN management required; 4+ years experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls with the demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex networks; experience in network, host, data and/or application security in multiple operating system environments; experience working with IP networking, networking protocols and understanding of security related technologies including encryption, IPsec, PKI, VPNs, firewalls, proxy services, DNS, electronic mail and access-lists; experience working with internet, web, application and network security techniques; experience working with leading firewall, network scanning and intrusion detection products and authentication technologies; possess Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher (Operating System Certification); possess a Certified Information Security Specialist Professional (CSSIP) information assurance certification (or be able to obtain the certification within 6 months).
Additional Requirements: Must be U.S. Citizen with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Math or Information Technology.Must be able to partner in a team environment and to independently monitor and administer a large Oracle 11g database environment. Must be experienced with all aspects of Oracle 11g database administration including RMAN, SQL and PL/SQL, performance tuning, CPU and patchset application and Oracle STREAMS. Must be able to support Oracle 11gR2 running on Windows Server 2008 and VMWare. This position requires strong troubleshooting and fundamental Oracle skills to support a range of customer requirements including tuning, forensics, data export and import, refresh of test and development instances, data recovery and architectural changes. The candidate must also have experience with critical patch updates, Oracle security features and IA implementation. Must be able to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced dynamic IT environment. Security+ and Oracle 11g certifications a plus.
Additional Requirements: Must be U.S. Citizen with 5 years related experience and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
